Latest Bus Information:
The East Kilbride Branch is the smallest in the Association with only seventeen full time members. The branch is unique in that they are the only group running buses to home games in order to accommodate disabled and young supporters. Periodic buses to away games are also run depending on demand
Originally formed in the 1950's, the branch unfortunately slipped into decline for a few years until its re-birth in 1968 by Jim Henderson – making 2008 the 40th Anniversary.
The minibus has three pick-ups in East Kilbride. Starting from Murray Square, there are also collections at St. Leonards and finally Calderwood Square. The bus immediately heads for the Fir Park Social Club and collection for the journey home is outside the Phil O’Donnell Stand after the game.
The branch is run by Brian Crawford, ably assisted by David Thomson. Membership charges have not yet been agreed for new season and weekly bus charges for the 2008/09 season will be finalised when bus hire prices are known.
The branch would be delighted to recruit new members from the East Kilbride area. For any further information, contact Brian Crawford on 01355 237367.
