The fight for third continues with a crucial Friday night match against Aberdeen.
Kick-off in the Ladbrokes Premiership fixture is at 7.45pm.
Tale of the tape
It’s a straight fight for third spot as the two sides go head to head. Motherwell currently occupy the position, a point ahead of their rivals.
With eight games left, the two will play again after the split but there’s an opportunity either for the Steelmen to go four clear, or fall two points behind.
Head to head
Both sides have won on rival turf so far in the 2019/20 season.
Aberdeen were 3-0 winners at Fir Park back in mid-October, before a Liam Donnelly goal gave the Steelmen a deserved 1-0 victory at Pittodrie in late January.
