They face Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday away, as they try to set up a play-off final with either Republic of Ireland or Slovakia next month.
Thursday’s game is followed by a home match with Austria and an away tie with Norway.
Bevis Mugabi is also on international duty in the UAE, with his Uganda side taking part in a training camp and friendly against local side Al Nasr, ahead of crucial AFCON qualifying matches in November.
