The new season isn’t far away, and here are all the important dates for your diary.
First up is the draw for the Premier Sports Cup group stage. This will take place on Wednesday 28 May at 1pm and is available to watch on Premier Sports 1, the Premier Sports YouTube channel, and the Premier Sports X/Twitter page, as well as the SPFL YouTube channel.
We are seeded in the draw and will discover fixture information shortly after the draw has taken place. The draw is not regionalised.
Our first-team will return to Fir Park for pre-season on Wednesday 18 June, before setting off for Delden, Netherlands, on Wednesday 25 June.
During their stay in the Netherlands, they will face Eredivisie side FC Twente on Tuesday 1 July.
In their second match of the trip, Motherwell will take on a second opponent on Saturday 28 June.
Fixtures will be announced on Friday 20 June for the new Premiership season at 9am.
The Premier Sports Cup group stage will kick off on the weekend of July 12/13, with all group stage matches to be completed by July 26/27.
Premiership match day one is on the 2nd/3rd of August, with the final round of fixtures taking place on 16th/17th May 2026.
There will be no winter break once again this season.
Away from first-team fixtures, there are some other important dates for your diary.

Our Early Bird discount will end on Friday 20 June.
Season ticket holders have until the 1st of July to secure their seat.
The fixtures for the 2025/26 SWPL season will be published on Wednesday 25 June at 9am, with the first round of games taking place on Sunday 17 August. This season, for the first time, both SWPL and SWPL2 will have ten teams.
There will be a winter break in the SWPL, starting on Monday 22 December and ending on Saturday 17 January.
The final game before the split will be on Sunday 22 February.
Clubs in SWPL 2 and the bottom four of the SWPL will conclude their fixtures on Sunday 17 May before the new SWPL play-off competition will commence. The SWPL play-off quarter-final will be played on Wednesday 20th, and the semi-final on Sunday 24 May.
Clubs in the top six of the SWPL will conclude their fixtures on Sunday 24 May. The SWPL and SWPL 2 play-off final matches are scheduled for Friday 29 and Saturday 30.
The first round of the Sky Sports Cup will take place on Sunday 1 September, with Motherwell entering in the second round on Sunday 5 October.
