Esapa Osong joined the club on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side Nottingham Forest.

Having spent last season on loan with Rotherham United and Cambridge United, the 20-year-old moved to Scotland following the injury to Eseosa Sule, leaving Apostolos Stamatelopoulos the only fit striker at the club.

Osong has been a prolific goalscorer through the youth ranks at Forest. He has scored 25 goals in 41 games for the Under 18 side, and has scored 11 goals for the Under 21 sides.

He made his senior debut back in 2023 in the EFL Cup against Manchester United.
