Eleven years after leaving Motherwell after establishing his career at Fir Park, and over £25m of transfer moves later, Ross McCormack returned to the club on loan from Aston Villa in January 2019.

A proven goalscorer throughout his career, netting 172 goals in 492 appearances and getting into double figures seven times in 13 full seasons, the 13-times Scotland capped striker brings a wealth of experience to the team.

McCormack originally joined Motherwell from Rangers as a 19-year-old in 2006, playing 57 times before switching to Cardiff City. His loan move from Aston Villa runs until the end of the 2018/19 season.
