Scotland international right back Stephen O’Donnell joined the club in August 2020.
The former Kilmarnock man had played just shy of 200 top flight matches before his arrival at Fir Park, as well as amassing 11 international caps.
The local boy, originally from Wishaw, made his Scotland debut against Peru in May 2018.
Since joining Motherwell, he would go on to be part of the Scotland starting team who would qualify for UEFA Euro 2020, ending the nation’s 23-year wait to participate at a major tournament.
