    Welcome to the team, Lime

    Welcome to the team, Lime

We are proud to announce a new three-year partnership with Lime, becoming our first-team front-of-shirt sponsor from the start of the 2026/27 Scottish Premiership season.

The agreement marks another exciting milestone for the club, representing the largest partnership in the club’s history. Lime, as the business continues to invest in Scottish communities, sport and the future of sustainable energy. Lime believes in backing people who work hard, think differently and strive to improve every day.

Those values are shared by Motherwell Football Club, making this partnership a natural fit.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Lime and to be displaying the brand on the front of the first team players’ shirts for the next three seasons,” commercial director Suzanne Reid at Motherwell FC said.

“This is the biggest partnership agreement in the club’s history, which is great news for the club and our supporters. Because of this agreement and other partnerships, we have surpassed the club’s commercial revenue figure to date.

“We would like to thank David, Paul and the team at Lime for their support and commitment to the club.”

“We’re incredibly proud to become the front-of-shirt sponsor of Motherwell Football Club,” David Turnbull Managing Director at Lime added.

“This is a landmark partnership for Lime and one we’re genuinely excited about. Motherwell is a club with a proud history, a passionate fanbase and a clear ambition for the future. After such a positive season last year, we’re looking forward to being part of what promises to be another exciting campaign.”

As one of Scotland’s fastest-growing renewable energy companies, Lime is helping homeowners and businesses take control of their energy future through smarter, simpler solar and battery solutions.

“We’re right behind the team,” Paul McLernon National Sales and Marketing Director at Lime stated.

“We can’t wait to see the Lime logo on the front of the famous claret and amber shirt and to support the club, the players and the Motherwell community over the next three years.”

“This partnership represents more than branding on a football shirt. It reflects a shared commitment to community, progress and building a brighter future—both on and off the pitch.

“Everyone at Lime would like to thank Motherwell Football Club for placing their trust in us. We look forward to an exciting new chapter together and wish the players, management and supporters every success for the 2026/27 season and beyond.”

Fresh thinking. Smarter energy. Proudly backing Motherwell FC.

    Seating Upgrade Phil O’Donnell Stand

    Seating Upgrade Phil O’Donnell Stand

Some seating within the Phil O’Donnell Stand is being upgraded ahead of the season. Season ticket holders have been notified in recent weeks about the upgrades being made.

As we prepare for our first European campaign in four years, there are some added changes and upgrades that we need to make in order to meet UEFA criteria.

Within the UEFA Conference League matches, all seats require a minimum of a 30 cm back, which many of the seats in the Phil O’Donnell Stand don’t currently have. As a club, we have been looking at the best way to rectify this issue and find a solution that works for all parties to ensure our supporters can use their seats.

The easiest solution is to purchase new plastic seats with the correct dimensions.

The new seats are the same width dimensions but with the required UEFA back height, which means we won’t have to reduce the number of seats and, therefore, no season ticket holder will need to be relocated. This part has been particularly important to us, as we understand and appreciate that some season ticket holders have been in their seat for a number of years and hold a personal attachment to where they sit.

Whilst the immediate priority is to upgrade the wooden seating in the Phil O’Donnell Stand, the club has purchased enough new seating to upgrade the bucket seats in the stand also. These will be upgraded in due course also.

Furthermore, should you wish to purchase a seat for memorabilia, you will be able to do so at the cost of £10 or £15 with all money going to the Motherwell FC Girls & Boys Academies. The seats are removed in sections of two and four, so we cannot guarantee your own seat, but you will get a section of two or four seats. Seats can be purchased online or by phoning the office on 01698 333 333. All seats require collection, and you will be notified when your seat is available.

You can buy these seats online by CLICKING HERE.
