‘Well fans are being urged to break a sweat in the name of charity at the Glasgow Mile.
On Sunday 25th March, over one million members of the great British public are expected to take part in a Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile at venues all across the UK.
So pull up your socks, put on your Claret and Amber shirt and head on down to the start line at George Square!
With a choice to complete 1, 3 or 6 miles, everyone can come together to take part – from tiny toddlers to top-notch sports pros! And there will be plenty of other entertainment and activities on offer which will ensure that it is a fantastic day.
Sport Relief has raised over £124 million during the last decade which has transformed the lives of some of the most vulnerable people living here in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries. And with your support, the Sport Relief 2012 campaign will be more successful than ever in the UK’s biggest year of sport.
