Motherwell came from behind to beat Dundee United 2-1 in the Reserve League at K-Park.
Flynn Duffy gave the visitors the lead but goals either side of half-time secured the three points for Alan Archibald’s side.
An experienced Motherwell side found them one-down with just ten minutes on the clock.
Blaney’s clearance fell at the feet of Flynn Duffy and the United forward steadied himself and fired an unstoppable effort past Aitken from 25 yards.
Motherwell were nearly two goals down after 25 minutes.
Duffy was fouled in the box by Luca Ross and he stepped up looking for his second of his game but Kyle Aitken dived to his left made the save.
Just before half-time, Motherwell were back level.

More heroics into the Motherwell goal from Kyle Aitken prevented an equaliser just minutes later. The young ‘keeper pulled off three fine saves from point blank before the linesman’s flag went up.
Motherwell saw the game out and kept Alan Archibald’s undefeated run going.
