Oli Shaw joined the Steelmen at the tail-end of the 2023/24 transfer window.
With a mounting list of injuries at the club, Shaw was acquired on loan from Barnsley to bolster a dwindling front line.
The Edinburgh born striker is no stranger to Scottish football. Having started his professional career at Hibernian, where he played almost fifty games, he then played for both Ross County and Kilmarnock, becoming the Ayrshire side’s top scorer in season 21/22.
Oli made the move south for an undisclosed fee, but the Reds went on a fine run of form which saw them reach the play-off final and he couldn’t quite find a regular place in the starting eleven.
