Having spent six months at Fir Park in 2023, Jon Obika made the switch to ML1 permanent in the summer of 2023.

Signing a one-year deal, with the option of the a further year, Obika was the first to take up a contract offer ahead of the new season.

Making 10 appearances and scoring one goal, the striker spent a couple of weeks on the sidelines having played through a hamstring injury sustained early in a match against Ross County in March.

He would score against Elgin City and Queen’s Park in the Viaplay group stage, before injury would strike the forward. He returned to action against Hearts in November 2023 as he looks to continue where he left off.
