Stuart Kettlewell opted for the loan signing of Welshman Jack Vale to aid his lack of striker options in his team. A product of the Blackburn Rovers Academy, Vale found the back of the net regularly at Under 18 and 21 level for the Rovers. 

Making his first team debut in 2020, Vale has already recorded 18 appearances for the first-team, whilst also spending time out on loan at Halifax Town, Rochdale and Lincoln City.
