Getting to Fir ParkTravelling from the South: On the M74 exit at junction 6

Travelling from the North: On the A80, use the M73 and M74 then exit at Junction 6

Travelling East or West: On the A8/M8, transfer to the M73/M74 at the Baillieston Interchange then exit at Junction 6.

From Junction 6 (Hamilton/Motherwell interchange) follow the Motherwell sign to the A723. At the first set of traffic lights, turn right onto Airbles Road, which should be followed to its junction with Windmillhill Street. Turn right and at the next roundabout turn left into Orbiston Street where away coaches can be parked.

Travelling from East or North via Newhouse (M8 or A73):

From Newhouse follow the A723 through Motherwell and Carfin. At the third roundabout after Carfin Cross traffic lights, turn left into Park Street. At the next roundabout turn left into Orbiston Street where away coaches can be parked.

Parking

On street parking is available on numerous streets around the stadium. Fans also make use of nearby car parks within the Civic Centre/Motherwell Concert Hall, behind the Health Centre on Parkhead Street and the smaller MacDonald Street car park.

Getting to Fir Park by Rail

Motherwell station has direct connections to Glasgow, Edinburgh and London etc. and across Lanarkshire to Coatbridge, Hamilton, Bellshill and Cumbernauld and Wishaw etc.

An interchange can be found immediately outside Motherwell station with a taxi rank and bus stops available to allow you to continue your journey to Fir Park by these should you wish to do so.

Walking to Fir Park from Motherwell Station:

Exit Motherwell Station and walk straight ahead along Muir Street. McDonalds and Woolworths will be visible ahead. Walk through the pedestrian precinct to its end.  Keep walking straight ahead, walk through the underpass and take a left up the stairs.  The Dalziel Arms will be at the top of the stairs and you will be on Brandon Street.  Continue up Brandon Street on to Windmillhill Street.  Continue along Windmillhill Street until you come to the Civic Centre, with Motherwell police station opposite. Fir Park will be clearly visible ahead.  At the traffic lights cross the road and on to Manse Road.  Take the first on the left on to Knowetop Street and Fir Park is around 100 yards ahead.

Walking to Fir Park from Airbles Station:

Exit Airbles Station and turn right on to Airbles Road.  Continue up Airbles Road, past the roundabout and up the street.  By the time you reach the next roundabout Fir Park will be visible on your right. Pass by the car showroom and turn right on to Adele Street.  Walk the short distance to the crossroads and turn left on to Gavin Street. Head up Gavin Street, then into Edward Street and Fir Park will be immediately head.

Getting there by Bus

Several operators run services which operate near to Fir Park including services 9, 56,  X2, 253 and First services X11, 240, 242, 266, 267 and 241 - all of which can be accessed from Motherwell town centre.

First operate service X11 direct from Buchanan bus station in Glasgow city centre. Departing every 30 minutes, Monday to Saturday, service X11 is the fast, direct express service to Motherwell on state-of-the art coaches.
